Shoreditch Design Triangle

Art and Culture

Autumn is creeping up on us, the mornings are getting a little chillier; it’s official, summer is on its way out. Out with the old and in with the new, as the old saying goes! Now that we’ve got that sweltering weather out of the way, let’s look forward to London in September and our first port of call has to be London Design Festival.

Within LDF there are a variety of districts city-wide presenting a curated selection of installations, but the Shoreditch Design Triangle is by far our favourite. Between 15th-23rd of this this month, Shoreditch Design Triangle brings together the best of the best and gives us all a chance to celebrate this innovative pocket of London. This creative occasion provides some well-loved and some not yet known creatives an exciting platform to showcase their work; over 50 different makers and creators have taken part in previous years and have given us some masterpieces to marvel at from all around the globe.

This year marks the Triangle’s 10th anniversary, meaning a sensational selection of product launches, anticipated exhibitions and immersive workshops will be taking place, as this is the largest official design district during London Design Festival, we are all expecting some big things.

Some of our favourite upcoming events comprise the new colour unveilings by Farrow and Ball and SCP’s A World of Ordinary Things, an installation exhibiting some new product launches which help us to delve deeper into the meaning of our relationship with some of the objects that we use in our everyday lives.

‘As the night falls, one can expect the customary freedom, mystery and promise that the East End has always provided for London.’ – Shoreditch Design Triangle.
