Sense of Space

Art and Culture

Get ready for a mindful art experience this spring in Broadgate’s Exchange Square with the sensational and enchanting installation, Sense of Space. This multi-sensory pop up will be up and running until 18th May and it is the perfect opportunity to escape from your qualms of day-to-day city life, immersing your mind and awakening your senses.

This exposition comprises four rooms which have been designed and put together for very different reasons – enliven your sense of sight, concentrate on the way your body moves like you never have done before and listen to the sweet sound of relaxation. Sound good? Then let’s explore each room a little closer:

The Doodle Room: No labradoodles in sight here I’m afraid, but the man, the myth, the legend himself, Mr Doodle will be introducing you to this whole experience in the only way he knows best….by doodling, of course. Watch this genius do live sketching to get you truly gripped and excited for the rest of this multi-sensory experience.

The Motion Box: After having your eyes and mind busied by the graphics of The Doodle Room, this space will come as quite a shock to the system because it will be blacked out. This artistic experience will convert your gestures and movements into a marvellous collation of light and colours. So get inspired and move around to see what colours you can create!

The Infinity Garden: Inspired by the mesmerising Japanese season of Hanami, this bloomy room created by Early Hours, a London-based floral design studio, will showcase an abstract and innovative display of meadows encased in blossom trees – this experience will be made complete with corresponding echoes of nature and delicious floral aromas.

The Zen Studio: If you’re feeling stressed and overwhelmed then this is exactly what you need, because the calming pastel hues, soothing melodies and the sweet and gentle scent of lavender will be enough to give your mind a reboot. Sensory yoga classes will also be taking place in this space so you can experience the ultimate feeling of Zen.
