One of London’s prized locations for tourists, shoppers and afternoon tea-lovers is coming to The Royal Exchange in Bank! City-dwellers will no longer need to trek to Mayfair to get their Fortnum and Mason fill because as of October this year, this City-bound department store will open its doors for business.
This new flagship branch will span an impressive 2,368 sq.ft. and will comprise everything you would expect, including a dining/bar area, retail space and a sumptuous confectionary counter, set to be the second biggest store, next to its Piccadilly sibling. With a history dating back to as early as 1707, it is encouraging to see that Londoners are still on the Afternoon Tea bandwagon and will continue to be for the foreseeable future!
